Speech contest on 15th September at Munich Toastmasters

On 2015, 15th December our club Munich Toastmasters will hold a speech contest for

  • Humorous speeches:
Contestants present a five- to seven- minute speech on any subject they choose. Here you can find 5 tips for winning a humrous speech contest: Humorous speech contest tips
  • Table topics:
An impromptu speech, all contestants are assigned the same topic, told to them when they are introduced by the contest chair.

Competition begins at the club level, and winners advance to the area, division and district levels.

All members are eligible to participate in both contests. However, for the humorous speech contest the member should have held at least his or her icebreaker speech.

This is a great event promising an interesting and funny evening you do not want to miss. Are you ready for the next challenge? Do you have something funny to tell us coming back from vacation? Relax, you still have plenty of time (one month) to prepare. Please also remember that you do not need any preparation at all for the table topic contest.

For those members not participating in the contest, we are still looking for people taking over the following roles for the evening:

  • Chief judge
  • Judges
  • Tabletopic master
  • Contest chair

Members interested to participate and help should contact our President Lorenzo, also for receiving more information.

Guests are welcome to come and watch.
